Welcome to
Swabbing Johns Inc.
What is swabbing?
Swabbing alleviates hydrostatic
pressure of a wellbore caused by fluid level and weight of
hydrocarbons in a string
of tubing in a completed well.
Swabbing is to reduce wellbore
pressure, by physically pulling fluid out of the production
string. When wellbore pressure
is reduced, this creates a kick, from the reservoir out to the wellbore,
which allows reservoir pressure, fluids, and solids
etc., a path of lesser resistance. Ridding this reservoir of these
gas blocking materials increases your potential for optimizing
gas and oil and water production. A clean wellbore provides bigger
more powerful casing breaks, significantly increasing
hydrocarbon lifting power. This lowers lifting costs. Deposits are
created by fluid moving in and out of wellbore perforations,
and over time if neglected, can cause a total loss of flow pressure
differential. When this takes place, build up of these
materials reduce total area of open perforations to flow thru. As a
result, a loss of production occurs. Total area of open
perforations and amount of solid inhibitors, such as scale, jip, sand,
salt, etc. can be controlled by fluid recovery analysis,
sample testing, chemical treatments, and swabbing these treatments back
in a timely order. To reduce the chance for further
zone damages, and eliminate the costs of pulling tubing, chemical
treatment can be pumped down and swabbed back in 24
hours to successfully flush and clean seating nipple and break around
point. This allows reservoir fluids to flow into well bore
and up the production string, without having to prematurely install
expensive external lifting devices, such as pumping units,
to provide for a longer well life.

Swabbing John’s employees strive to
provide quality, educated, and safe services to all customers.
Every operator must
show considerable aptitude, and an extreme willingness to safely complete
his job in a timely manner. Swabbing John's
employees attend a monthly safety meeting provided by safety coordinator,
Preston Keck. Swabbing John’s
employees are provided with family insurance, optional dental insurance,
life insurance, Simple IRA, paid vacation, cellular
communication, uniforms and all safety equipment.
Swabbing John’s has eight swabbing
units that were built and are maintained by Crown Energy
Technologies, Div of Stewart
and Stevenson, and National Oilwell Varco. Rig Motors and
transmissions are built and maintained by United Engines.
Rig
Operators are responsible for the regular maintenance and troubleshooting
of rig operating systems and upkeep of
maintenance logs. All of our swabbing units are vigorously
maintained with top of the line materials and equipment
so our operators can provide safe and quality work with minimal
breakdowns. Contact a tool pusher for any information.
